From 6:00pm EST until 10:00pm EST
Creativity is a powerful force and tool in times of great change and challenge.
Join us for this inspiring creativity workshop led by Artistic Director and Founder Thurman E. Scott on February 21st from 6pm-10pm.
In this scholarship workshop, Mr. Scott will teach creative exercises and techniques that will open up new insights about ourselves and each other. Join a diverse group of people coming together to gain understanding, and feel connection and unity through the creative process. The nature of creativity is of reaching out to make a connection with the universal collective family and create harmony in the world.
The creative exercises Mr. Scott teaches will help us change the energy of fear and uncertainty often experienced in times of change, to the energy of hope and possibility. Many of the struggles that humans go through and disagreements we have is because we put limits on ourselves. And a lot of the pain that we suffer is from suppressing our creative energy and imagination that, when expressed, empowers innovation, plentifulness, and connection.
This interactive class will include an open dialog where you can ask a master theatre artist questions about today’s issues and ways to use creative techniques every day in your own life. And there will be an opportunity to speak with Mr. Scott 1-on-1 during a short break.
Now is our opportunity to develop new creative tools that will give us the energy and the courage to accept our individuality, celebrate our common bonds, and meet the challenge of building our communities and our country.
Important Note: This workshop is designed to overcome isolation and bring people together. RSVP is required, walkins will not be admitted.
