Coming Together Through Creativity

13Oct2021

From 7pm ET

Creativity is a powerful force and tool in times of great change.

Join ATW for the October session of our inspiring, interactive class series led by Artistic Director and Founder Thurman E. Scott: Coming Together Through Creativity on October 13th at 7pm ET.

Mr. Scott will share insights and techniques to bring people of different backgrounds and beliefs together, and help us accept each other. When diverse people join together they feel their power and encourage others to speak up. Connection and unity give us energy, and the courage to accept our individuality and common bonds. Now is our chance to develop new tools to meet the challenges ahead and reshape our country.

This interactive session will include a reading and an open dialogue where you can ask a master theatre artist questions about today’s issues and ways to use creative techniques in your own life. Mr. Scott will teach simple creative exercises that will help us change the energy of fear and uncertainty often experienced in times of change, to the energy of hope and possibility.

Join us on Zoom October 13th at 7pm ET to listen to new insights, learn, and experience change from a master teacher of creative process.

Register here on Eventbrite and the Zoom link will be emailed to you!

Important Note: This is an interactive, creative class taught by a master teacher of acting. The class is designed to overcome isolation and bring people together. In order to be in the class, you must keep your camera on and participate in all of the exercises.

What to Bring: Blank, unlined paper to write and draw on, and markers, crayons or colored pencils to draw with. We will be doing a drawing exercise during the class.
